Each page of this smaller picture book has a cleverly detailed collage style image that is surrounded by abundant white space with the words and images showing movement. Every few pages there is a fold out flap that extends the words and pictures further. The final double page spread is a treat to view and folds out to showcase each bird named with their alphabet letter highlighted.

This stunning book would make the perfect gift for a young child or for that person who just loves birds. The artwork is exquisite and so creatively presented. A pleasure to read aloud.
